HOMEMADE KEBAB MEAT Recipe! 500g lamb finely minced, 2 tsp garlic granules

 Homemade Kebab Meat Recipe. During lockdown, we all found ourselves trying out new recipes, and this homemade kebab meat was one of those delightful experiments inspired by a TV chef program. Give it a try and enjoy the authentic flavors of a homemade kebab!


  • 500g lamb, finely minced
  • 2 tsp garlic granules
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp ground sea salt
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 large egg
  • Vegetable oil


  1. Whisk the egg in a bowl.
  2. In a roomy bowl, combine the minced lamb, garlic granules, black pepper, sea salt, dried oregano, paprika, chilli powder, and the whisked egg.
  3. Use your hands to bring everything together, kneading the mixture for about 10 minutes.
  4. Place the meat paste onto a large sheet of cling wrap and roll it into a thick sausage shape. Twist each end of the cling wrap tightly to form a smooth cylindrical shape.
  5. Chill the wrapped meat in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  6. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  7. Remove the meat from the chilling, unwrap the sausage, and wrap it in foil. Pierce the underside of the foil roll.
  8. Place the foil-wrapped meat in a roasting dish and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
  9. Once done, remove from the oven and allow it to cool slightly.
  10. Carve the meat thinly along the length into ribbons.
