We liked it but didnt love it, I liked the flavour but the texture was quite odd! Recipe - Turkey pot pie with stuffing topping, really tasty, quick to put together meal

Turkey pot pie with stuffing topping. Served with sweetcorn, peas & mash. I dont do peas unless they are mushy, but the kids like them!  This was a really tasty, quick to put together meal! I found it on the Supercook app but its literally leftover chicken/turkey, with made up gravy poured over, then pour your made up stuffing mix over the top whilst still liquidy, & bake for 45 minutes 🙂  Leftover turkey free as costed previously Stuffing 43p Gravy granules 16p 1/6 bag frozen sweetcorn 15p 1/6 bag frozen peas 9p Mash free from Olio  84p!!!!!!!! Fed 5 for 16p each!! Thats just wild isnt it! 😀  Top tips for this one… UTILISE OLIO AS MUCH AS YOU CAN… most things can be frozen! Also… save your leftovers! I never ever throw leftovers… even small amounts of veg can be used in a stew or soup! Look out for reductions! Recipe - Beef bourguignon, with Cheddar mash & broccoli 😋 We all loved this except Anaïs, she was absolutely disgusted 🤣😅😅😅 . It was quite an expensive one today, we dont have beef a lot (unless its mince) as its just too expensive… the frozen diced beef worked out cheaper per kg than fresh, good quality too, but still pricey. I get a lot of good reduced bits but never ever see beef reduced! Recipe - We had a really lovely tea tonight recipe! Chicken taco broccoli bake, with sweetcorn 🙂 Jimmys gone to Beni on his stag do today so just 4 of us for tea tonight! Will definately make this again, but precook the frozen broccoli a bit as it wasnt quite soft enough for us! Chicken dinner recipe! As I said before I wasnt going to do one but I enjoyed it thoroughly! With homemade Malteser cheesecake for pud 😀. We have leftovers so made 2 dinners (plus gravy) for me & Jimmy tomorrow eve when hes back (kids will have cheese toasties or something, they wont want another roast)… & even after that we still have leftover Yorkshires, stuffing & chicken which has all gone into the freezer 🙂. The carcass is in the oven getting some colour on it to make stock! This is a definite rubber chicken, I feel like its gone much further this week, dont know if the weight has gone up of the one I usually buy?! Not that im complaining 😊. Recipe - JEEEEEZ this was a spicy one!! Dont recommend unless you can take spice… even Jimmy was sweating (although that could have been the alcohol sweating out of him still from Beni 😂). Curry night recipe! Amazing cheap tea for us tonight!
