Chicken salad with all the goodies 😀 . Recipe - I roasted the chicken & made the potato salad & boiled eggs this morning when it wasnt as hot, to avoid heating the kitchen even more at tea time! Veggie meal for everyone tonight 🙂. Corn fritter burgers (from Heron, go & get them NOW, they are delish!!), I had homemade pickled onions on mine, mustard & mayo… fries, onion rings & tomatoes… Lily had a mushroom pizza made using a slice of bread rolled out 😀 (she doesnt eat anything burger related 😂) . Creamy spinach & artichoke pasta, with garlic bread 😁😁. This was DELICIOUS!! However - Im not sure that the artichoke gave anything to the dish but it was jarred as per the recipe, & ive never tried a fresh one so have nothing to compare to! I loved the texture but it was a bit tasteless! The dish overall was really tasty though & I dont think you’d miss the artichoke if you didnt add it… 100% will make again. To compare it to something it tasted like one of the sachets of pasta n sauce, which I love!  The only difference to mine was that I added frozen spinach instead of fresh as thats what I had in 🙂 . Recipe - Chorizo shakshuka 🥰🥰 with sourdough toast (no one come for me, you know I like my radiator toast 😂). This looks absolutely naff on the plate, theres no way to pretty it up really, but it was the tastiest thing ive eaten in a while! Arlo really loved it too! ❤️. CURRYWURST 🥰 Curried sausage with fries, cheese & crispy onions 😋 This was a new one for us, not sure of the authenticity of the jarred sausage 😅 but we loved it! Google says "Germans eat around 800 million Currywursts a year, can you imagine! And not only as a snack, or a late night (hangover) bite. Cafés, beer gardens and pubs also serve it as a meal with bread or fries. Hi, I just got a slow cooker and was wondering what the best slow cook book is the best for quick simple family meals never owned one before so looking forward to it. I did it lol a lovely beef stew beef was unreal made horseradish mash and rosemary and parsley dumplings first attempt when we’ll I say 😊.  

Homemade steak & Stilton pie, carrots (& onion for me), & garlic mash 🤤🤤🤤 Oooh these were delish!! The kids had some bread & butter with theirs as they dont like mash (bread from Olio 🙂). The pies cost £7.98 to make 15 portions (some had to be done in bigger dishes so will feed 2/3 kiddie portions) so makes it 53p per portion! You can make them cheaper by using different fillings… mince & onions, leftover chicken & leek, leftover chicken & mushrooms… or by cutting out the puff pastry & using all shortcrust 🙂 You can buy cheap pies from the supermarket but I find they dont have a lot of filling, or the fillings are really bland. Recipe - Tea went a bit wrong tonight! Turkey dinner Recipe! Was supposed to be gammon but got to the turkey first so we went with that 😀. With broccoli, carrots (& my onion 😏), cabbage, homemade dauphinoise potatoes, & Yorkshires 😀. The REAL star of the show however, was this croissant bread & butter pudding 🤤🤤 HONESTLY!!!!
