Recipe - Fake away sweet and sour chicken balls…
Cut thicken breast into cubes. Dusted them in the salt and pepper seasoning (Heron Foods, v cheap) mixed half and half with plain flour.
Batter mix, just add water and whisk with a fork. Super easy.
Dip the chicken chunks in the batter and fry in hot oil.
Drain on kitchen paper.
Serve with boiled rice and whatever veg you have available.
The sweet and sour sauce I saved from last weeks takeaway so was free. But you could use a sachet or just serve with soy sauce.
My son said it was better than the take away version! It’s certainly cheaper, by about £6! 🙂.
