Jubilee trifle recipe! trifle without lady fingers, cost less than £2

Making a jubilee trifle without lady fingers as im gf and couldnt find any. This lot cost less than £2 ( i actually used a strawberry jelly packet but had binned it), had some free strawberries from the community fridge, only needs water for the jelly and instant custard, and 150ml of milk for the topping.

Not a bad price to make dessert for me & 3 teenagers!!

You can use jam roll for the sponge have you used thst custard before not sure if it will be a bit runny for jubilee trifle. My sister love trifle but she can't bear it with jelly in or fruit - She'd have to put cake in the bottom and then the custard and cream.
