Recipe - Todays dinner for the meat eaters was beef stew bulked out with dumplings and Yorkshire puddings. I used one pack of stewing steak at £3.50 and then a pack of frozen casserole vegetables and half a pack of potatoes. I made my gravy with granules and a beef stock pot. Total cost would be around £7 with the dumplings and Yorkshire’s buy that has done 8 large portions and could easily be stretched more. I also still have some left. I served mine with broccoli.
That looks absolutely gorgeous and it’s also my favourite dish apart from the Yorkshire pudding 😋.
