Recipe - Tonight’s dinner for the non meat eaters was cheesy broccoli pasta. I cooked 1/2 a pack of essentials pasta at 30p with some broccoli and peas. In another pan i added a little butter and 2 garlic cloves pressed. I tipped in half a pot of cream and half a block of cheap parmesan (Asda essentials one) and seasoned with salt and pepper. I added a couple of tablespoons of the pasta water and then drained the pasta and mixed the pasta in to the sauce and topped with a little more parmesan. I think it would also be lovely with chicken, bacon or both for meat eaters.
This would be great for my duaghter.
