Recipe - I've gone from weekly pay to monthly paying desperately trying to make do the best I can to feed us all.
Today it was raid the kitchen day. I came up with chicken and noodle soup. Chicken leftover from the roast dinner, boiled carcas for the broth. Noodles, bok choy, spring onion, carrot, celery, black pepper, ginger, garlic and soy sauce.
Not my usual meal but surprisingly tasty..and fed is best.
Honestly grab a few extra veggie in your monthly shop and freeze them .... its saved me we eat fresh for two weeks then use what I've frozen myself for the rest .... xx.
