Cut out restaurants to save money! nice meals into regular shopping budget

We’ve cut out restaurants to save money. But I still wanted to have nice looking food and “date” nights with the hubby. So I went to B&M and work our nice meals into our regular shopping budget.
We shop at Aldi and spend 90-140 a week for a family of 6 and this includes nappies for 2, overnight pants for 1, soaps, cleaners, etc. I do a lot homemade and for the size of our family and the kids appetites I think it’s pretty good.

I got the platters for £4 each, chip baskets for £1.49 each and the little bowls were £5 for 3 with a slate.
