Recipe - beef bourguignon, sweet potato mash, broccoli & Yorkshire puds

Recipe!! Beef Bourguignon Extravaganza with Cheese & Bean Pies, Sweet Potato Mash, Broccoli, Yorkshire Puds, and a Cheese Wrap for Lily!

Ingredients:

  • Leftover beef bourguignon (free, as costed previously)
  • Broccoli (72p)
  • Onion (6p)
  • 2 sweet potatoes & 2 normal potatoes (70p ish)
  • 1/2 tin baked beans (14p)
  • 1/6 block of cheese (46p)
  • Flour & butter for pastry (30p ish)
  • Leftover Yorkshire puddings (free, as costed previously)

Total Cost: £2.38

Instructions:

For Beef Bourguignon:

  1. Reheat the leftover beef bourguignon until it's piping hot.

For Sweet Potato Mash:

  1. Peel and chop the sweet potatoes and normal potatoes.
  2. Boil until tender, then mash with a bit of butter until smooth.

For Cheese & Bean Pies:

  1. Roll out the pastry (made with flour and butter) and line individual pie dishes.
  2. Mix baked beans with grated cheese and fill the pie dishes.
  3. Cover with another layer of pastry and bake until golden.

For Broccoli and Onion:

  1. Steam or boil the broccoli until it's cooked to your liking.
  2. Sauté sliced onion until it's tender and caramelized.

For Lily's Cheese Wrap:

  1. Assemble a wrap with cheese, cucumber, and carrot sticks.

Serve all these delicious components together, and enjoy the variety of flavors on the table!
