Recipe - Pork & Leek Pie Delight with Mash, Broccoli & Cauli, and Kid-Friendly Ramen Bowls!

Ingredients:

  • Leftover pork (free, as costed previously)
  • Butter & flour for pastry (30p ish, including a bag of flour for 5p from 'best before it's gone')
  • 5 blocks of frozen spinach (22p ish)
  • Leftover mash (free, as costed previously)
  • 1/2 bag of frozen broccoli & cauliflower (45p)
  • Gravy granules (15p)

Total Cost: £1.12

Instructions:

For Pork & Leek Pie:

  1. Shred or chop the leftover pork.
  2. Make a simple butter and flour pastry, roll it out, and use it to line a pie dish.
  3. Mix the shredded pork with leeks and frozen spinach blocks.
  4. Fill the pie dish with the pork mixture.
  5. Cover the pie with another layer of pastry and bake until golden and delicious.

For Mash, Broccoli & Cauli:

  1. Reheat the leftover mash.
  2. Boil or steam the frozen broccoli and cauliflower until tender.
  3. Serve the mash and vegetables alongside the pie.

For Kid-Friendly Ramen Bowls:

  1. Prepare ramen noodles according to package instructions.
  2. Customize each bowl with kid-friendly toppings and flavors.
