Recipe - Pork & Leek Pie Delight with Mash, Broccoli & Cauli, and Kid-Friendly Ramen Bowls!
Ingredients:
- Leftover pork (free, as costed previously)
- Butter & flour for pastry (30p ish, including a bag of flour for 5p from 'best before it's gone')
- 5 blocks of frozen spinach (22p ish)
- Leftover mash (free, as costed previously)
- 1/2 bag of frozen broccoli & cauliflower (45p)
- Gravy granules (15p)
Total Cost: £1.12
Instructions:
For Pork & Leek Pie:
- Shred or chop the leftover pork.
- Make a simple butter and flour pastry, roll it out, and use it to line a pie dish.
- Mix the shredded pork with leeks and frozen spinach blocks.
- Fill the pie dish with the pork mixture.
- Cover the pie with another layer of pastry and bake until golden and delicious.
For Mash, Broccoli & Cauli:
- Reheat the leftover mash.
- Boil or steam the frozen broccoli and cauliflower until tender.
- Serve the mash and vegetables alongside the pie.
For Kid-Friendly Ramen Bowls:
- Prepare ramen noodles according to package instructions.
- Customize each bowl with kid-friendly toppings and flavors.
